Mission Statement Christian Defense Ministries

The mission of Christian Defense Ministries is to teach Christians to defend their faith in the face of an increasingly hostile world. Christians are supposed to Answer Questions and Question Answers. The Church has the answers to the great questions of eternity, and it is our task to share those answers with other Christians so that they will be able to answer questions that they receive during the course of their lives. There is no reason for the Church to back down when talking about its doctrine, the Resurrection, Creation, or anything else. One cannot argue someone into the Kingdom of Heaven; however, one can work to remove the intellectual obstacles to faith. This is our job--to facilitate things for Christians as they fulfill the commands of Paul and Peter: "For the weapons of our warfare are not physical, but are mighty in God for pulling down strongholds, casting down arguments and every high thing that exalts itself against the knowledge of God, bringing every thought into captivity to the obedience of Christ . . . but sanctify the Lord God in your hearts, and always be ready to give a defense to everyone who asks you a reason for the hope that is in you, with meekness and respect."

NOTE: A mission statement should be concise and to the point. Ours is not. However, if you are looking for a more traditional mission statement with some brevity, how about this:
