Founded in 1995 by Darrell Arthur McCulley, Christian Defense Ministries' job is to assist the Christian believer in Answering Questions and Questioning Answers in a world that is hostile to the Christian Gospel. To that end, CDM makes speakers and teachers available to organizations and congregations. Our spearkers are prepared for everything from single lectures to multi-session retreats. For these events the handouts and source materiel will be made available to each participant. Subjects include learning to defend the faith in the areas of: = Mormonism, Jehovah's Witnesses, and other cults = The Occult, Witchcraft, Satanism, Demonology and Exorcism = Creation vs Evolution: The Scientific Evidence = The New Age Movement = Basic, Foundational Christian Doctrine = Christianity and Politics = Biblical Interpretation = Threats to the Faith, both from Without and from Within = Christianity and Philosophy = Modern Feminism (Biblical and Otherwise) and Feminist Theology = A Christian Response to the UFO Phenomenon and Possible Life on Other Planets = Christianity, Abortion and Euthanasia Most of our lectures and classes, save those tailored to teach these techniques to pastors, are geared to the average Christian who wants to defend his or her faith. We endeavour to, as Donald Barnhouse put it, "get the hay down out of the loft and onto the floor where the cows can get at it." In other words, lofty theological precepts do no one any good unless they are 1) made understandable to the average person; and 2) presented in such a way that the person hearing them can not only understand them but pass them on in a comprehensible way to other people. At the present, we are offering these speaking ministries in exchange for only travel & lodging expenses and a free-will offering. No further charge will be asked. This includes not only the single lectures but also the longer multi-session events up to a weekend or week long.
